The Children Act 2004 says that each area must have a Safeguarding Children Partnership. Our Safeguarding Children Partnership is made up by representatives from many organisations that have a role in safeguarding and protecting children across Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees, such as Stockton-on-Tees and Hartlepool Local Authorities, NHS, Cleveland Police, Education providers and many other organisations across the area.
